There are lots of useful websites for economic historians. The most useful site for general information is undoubtedly eh.net. For example, it carries information about conferences; it hosts themed debates between leading researchers; it publishes Abstracts in Economic History, giving abstracts of unpublished work; and it has links to many other useful sites (Journal of Economic History, Economic History Review, etc., etc.)

In European universities there is a long tradition of departments dedicated to the study of economic history. The number of specialised departments has been shrinking recently in the UK, but they can still be found at Edinburgh, and the London School of Economics, whilst there is an active group in Oxford. Specialised departments around Continental Europe include Carlos III in Madrid and Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona. There are also notable concentrations of economic historians at Copenhagen and the Groningen Growth and Development Centre (which has a very useful web site).
