For those interested in squash, we normally have an arrangement to use the courts at Worcester College. As these are unavailable due to construction until fall 2006, however, Nuffield students have scheduled access at the University Sports Complex on Iffley Road. To book a squash court, call the Sports complex at (01865) 240476. For the schedule, see here. |

1) Always take the time to stretch at the start and finish of your session. This will reduce the chance of injury and ensure your work-outs are effective. Suggested stretches are posted on the gym wall. 2) Always warm up with some light cardio exercise (jogging, bike, rowing) for 5-10 minutes at the start of your work-out. 3) Drink plenty of water. 4) Be aware of your limits. Challenge yourself, but not to the point of injury. 5) It is safer, more fun, and often, more effective, to exercise in pairs. Don’t work out alone. |
