When you register to use Nuffield College Library you will be offered a brief tour to explain to you how the library works and where things are located. Please feel free to ask any member of library staff for help with navigating your way around the library, and finding books, journals and other items.
The floor plans of the Library are available here, and also as a handout in the main library.

OLIS, Oxford University's online union library catalogue, contains information on almost five million of the estimated ten million books held by Oxford University libraries. It can be accessed worldwide via web, telnet and Z39.50 interfaces. The Automated Stack Request facility is now the only way to request books from the Stacks and Nuneham Courtenay repository to a Reading Room. At the moment, ASR is only available via Telnet.
New members of Nuffield are introduced to OLIS as part of the induction programme. Members of other Colleges can get training from their College Librarian, or from the Social Studies Libraries.
