Nuffield College Library attempts to acquire the essential texts on the reading lists of the core courses for the following taught masters' programmes: MPhil Economics; MPhil/MSc Economic and Social History; MPhil Politics; MPhil/MSc Sociology.

These courses are supported by the Social Science Library. The provision of the Taught Course collection at Nuffield is in addition to this University provision for students. The collection is therefore primarily for students at Nuffield College, but is also open to all graduate students at the University. It is kept in the first floor reading room on a reference only basis. Items may be removed for photocopying, but should be replaced as soon as possible, as they are in constant high demand.

The collection covers only the courses named in the above section.
