| This is my old school friend David Moran crossing the last snowfield in our descent from Grays Peak (4391m/14 270ft) in Colorado. The snow was getting soft in the afternoon sun and we sank up to our knees at every step, which was pretty tiring after an hour or so. David decided to wear his Girton College hockey shirt on the climb to ward off any low-flying aircraft, which seemed to work. | |
