Moose

Most wild animals avoid contact with humans - but not the moose. If you approach a moose then it will generally ignore you and stand its ground; but if you come too close then it may charge or kick you (either of which can be fatal). I rounded a bend in the path in Grand Teton National Park and met this moose grazing on tree branches; this involves the moose putting small branches into its mouth and sucking off all the leaves, as you can see from the branches just in front of the moose. Before we could go on, we had to wait until he had finished with the trees and found some more tasty alternatives.
