| This particular refuge is quite a modest affair. It is the Refuge X, situated in the Encantats area of the Spanish Pyrenees. The Encantants is an undulating plateau dotted with mountain lakes with beautiful scenery all year round. The refuge is also open throughout the year, which is unusual (most refuges are closed between October and May). Hence the Encantats are particularly good for snow-shoeing. | |
