| This is a rare view of the Scottish Highlands - fairly deep snow and bright sunshine. Such weather is more reminiscent of the Alps in June than Scotland in the winter! In fact, Lucy forgot to pack her sunglasses and walked all day in the bright glare of sunlight reflecting off the snow. By the time we got down she was almost snow-blind and we had to go to the chemist to get some eye lotion. | |
