This is David Moran and me in Colorado on top of Mount Bross (4361m/14 172ft); Lucy was with us and took this photo. The weather was a bit nippy but the views were fantastic, the company was great and we had cheese and tomato sandwiches for lunch. This may not sound amazing when you are at sea level, but it's pretty tasty at 4000m. (The human body becomes dehydrated very quickly at high altitudes, so just thinking about tomatoes can make you drool). Suitably revitalised, we made a traverse to Mount Lincoln (4396m/14 286ft) before descending. |
